About us

Our company

Based in Zwaag, we supply cavitating ultrasonic transmitters that optimise water. Our transmitters disinfect, prevent fouling and control micro-organisms. Using our cavitating ultrasonic transmitters is environmentally friendly, easy to install and usually completely maintenance-free. Every company is unique, we always take stock of the situation together with you and make a recommendation based on that. If necessary, we will come and see what the best solution is. We always want to make sure that the right results are achieved in the fight against micro-organisms. An additional advantage is that using ultrasonic can reduce the use of expensive pesticides or the use of fuel. (The payback period is usually under 18 months)

We are convinced that with these applications, the environment wins, our customers win and we win...and that there are only winners, that's really ultrasonic!

The emergence

Having gained many years of experience in various industries in distribution, manufacturing and sales & marketing, owner Robert de Hoo got in touch with Kees Luijkx. Kees is the owner of Luijkx Ultrasound B.V. and the manufacturer of USAF™ cavitating ultrasound products, with 25 years of experience in cavitating ultrasound technology. Robert got very excited by all the stories, reports and studies on the use of ultrasound. The increasingly stringent environmental requirements will also help the growth of this technique. So Robert also saw plenty of commercial opportunities and Kees was looking for a company that could continue and further expand sales, and together they quickly agreed. A new company called Ultramins was therefore quickly established. Since then, the team has expanded considerably and Ultramins supplies more than 40 countries worldwide.

The name Ultramins

A unique name composed of 3 words 'ultrasonic', 'vitamins' and 'less'. Ultrasonic speaks for itself, the technique on which everything is based. Vitamins' because we treat water that becomes 'better' after treatment with ultrasonic, so you can see ultrasonic as a vitamin. Less' because there are fewer micro-organisms in the water after treatment and therefore fewer pesticides are needed. And less because we make sure there is less fouling and less fuel is needed in shipping. Less pesticide and less fuel means less impact on the environment, and that, of course, is becoming increasingly important!
