We grow tomatoes with great pride and dedication at Gardener's Pride. Every day we strive for optimum quality, and that starts with the basics: the water we use to care for our plants. As every grower knows, water is not only a source of life, but also a potential carrier of disease pressure. Therefore, we want to be sure that the water we grow with is so reliable that we can exclude that factor as a source of risk.

We use multiple disinfection steps and Ultramins's cavitating ultrasonic technology has an important role in this, which we are positive about. Why? Because it is well thought-out: it combines powerful water treatment with minimal effort on our side. No chemical residues, no complex integration, just place a transmitter, and it does its job. And it does it well, thus strengthening the water chain.

At our Berlikum site, we also take water from a common basin that houses the USAF™ transmitters of Ultramins. Since then, we have seen a marked improvement in water quality.

In support, we have also added MT600 units with a light dose of H₂O₂ in the daily stock silos, especially as additional protection against pathogens such as ToBRFV.

Only the dirt drain is not currently equipped with a transmitter, but that might just change, as we see the added value.

We also installed the transmitters at our Klazienaveen site, with equally positive results.

In short: this investment in sustainable technology gives us peace of mind, security with the goal of a healthier crop. That is what counts.
