Slovak cucumber grower Imre Asztalos has started using USAF\u2122 transmitters<\/strong> at his company Zelstar s.r.o. Zemne. The company also grows young cucumber plants in-house. With the technology, supplied by Ultramins, the company eliminates harmful microorganisms in the irrigation water, prevents algae growth, and stops biofilm from forming in the pipes. In recent years, Ultramins has <\/span>experienced strong growth<\/a>, now serving customers in over fifty different countries.<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/main>The cucumber grower cultivates on 4 hectares in plastic greenhouses. He has been using the USAF transmitters for two years. \n\u201cSince we started using the USAF\u2122 transmitters, the pathogen level \u2014 measured by Hygene \u2014 has dropped to zero! The pipes are extremely clean, even cleaner than when we used hydrogen peroxide alone. The combination simply delivers better results in the piping system.\u201d<\/p>\n

The grower notes that the young plants are growing very uniformly. \n\u201cThat\u2019s something I\u2019ve never experienced before. On top of that, I didn\u2019t lose a single one of the 60,000 young plants we raised ourselves! All our plants also withstood the summer heatwaves better.\u201d<\/p>\n

The roots appear whiter and denser when looking into the substrate slabs. \n\u201cAt the end of the cultivation cycle, it takes more effort to remove the growing blocks due to the stronger root system.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thanks to the improved root system, the plants absorb nutrients more efficiently, so growers need to adjust the optimal levels accordingly. \n\u201cThese units also help us reduce fertilizer costs. The roots stay in the slabs better, and there are no clogged drippers or blocked drainage holes.\u201d<\/p>\n

All in all, the plants have become healthier since the Slovak growers started using Ultramins\u2019 USAF\u2122 transmitters, Imre concludes. \n\u201cEven the taste of the cucumbers has noticeably improved!\u201d<\/p>\n
